About Valentines Day, when I moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the late 80's I was informed about another day in October called Sweetest Day which many others referred to as Hallmark Day, had to look it up on Wikipedia.

Sweetest Day has also been referred to as a "Hallmark holiday" or a "concocted promotion" created by the candy industry solely to increase sales of sweets.[4]

So funny that it was observed there.

So I have been working on the Valentines Day logo.
I cannot for the life of me, find a good texture to use for the Pinball Nirvana words.
I am thinking about leaving it with just the original texture.
I got sick of trying different textures, as they all look crappy, so I tried out adding the red heads to the logo.
It looks great to me.
Also added Black hair chick, but this one may be too provocative to post. (Unless its only for 1 day!! lol)

They don't look that great to me. (And these are the best out 100's)

I am thinking about just sticking a rose in her hand, and calling it quits! lol
I have tried sitting her on box of chocolates, and all kinds of different hearts, and they all look crappy.
I say leave the original texture and the pinball she sits on, and just try to add a few Valentines things to that.

You could rotate the babes and maybe a balloon on a stick perhaps...or a string for the second babe to hold up her skirt.

Funny you say that...I was just getting ready to show you a few items. The chocolates she sits on, balloon that says Happy Valentines Day, hearts borders on sides, and a cupid silhouette.

I was just slapping it on so you could see it.
I actually have many cupid silhouettes.
I have many Valentines items.
It was just the texture thing killing me.
I will make the Nudging Necessary red.

ok tried a couple more textures, before adding the other little things.

On this one I just added hearts to "Pinball Nirvana" original texture.


And this one also has the hearts in the texture with darker red backround.


I still think we should just leave the original texture, as these 2 textures arent that great.

So I will move on from trying any more textures, and concentrate on the other items now.

I think your guys great work should perhaps be viewable to the Public, we could even setup a logo category in the Media section that links with a thread and/or vice versa, if I remember correctly. It also might be possible to change logo's at set times, not sure.

We were sharing in the chickaball girl thread, and actually had a logo contest, but once I won the contest by default, (nobody posted any entries except for me!), then I wanted to start surprising them with each new logo.
Also didn't want them to see my flawed versions.
So I stopped posting them in that thread.

I can start posting so the public can see the logo wip's and maybe we will get some community feedback also, which never hurts.
Or we can keep them secret up until release.
Up to you guys.
I am just happy to be part of this team!

@StevOz and @shiva have helped me strive for perfection!
They see the flaws, and I learn to fix them!
Shiva helped me notice that my bucket fill, and my adding Borders was not crisp.
This pushed me to learn a new way to add borders a different way.
StevOz catches all flaws, and is not afraid to tell me, or critique my work.
He zooms in on logo's 800%, and catches things I miss with my blind eyes! lol
I want the same thing shiva and StevOz want.... Perfection! (Or as close to it as possible!)
