The chocolate bunny is no dealbreaker, though I did feel a dark colour other then black might look and render slightly better.

I am going to try a texture straight from a pic of a chocolate bunny.

It's been years since I have done any basic graphics editing, I am sure there was a way to reduce the colours used in an image down to 2 through some filter, got it down to 8 using xnview, and I'm sure there was some other filter that could change the colours of an image individually...at least that's how I think I changed colours on simple images?

I am not familiar with the switching to 2 colors method, or any of that advanced stuff.
I know just barely enough to get by. I am self taught.
When I first started modding tables, that is when I first tried editting pics.
I used the Paint program that was built into Windows.
Well you cannot export transparency with that program.
So I made the background black on my GI Joe table, so you couldnt see my crappy edges around Joe pics on playfield.
I do keep learning new things, and I learn quickly.

Well xnview is what I used which is a fairly basic image tool, that does have some filters and available plugins and an online tool to change adjust colours, I think there are optional extra plugins available that I am maybe missing.

I think I use it to convert WebP to PNG and vice versa, in bulk.

Yes, that was the first thing I did seems the simplest way to deal with those web formatted images. Oh final bunny above.

The image I posted is your bunny left, my bunny right joined togther both bunnies zoomed to 500% via Firefox and screenshot, yours looks a bit better with a more focused look.

Well you found the pic, and it was the only one i saw that had eyes, and was jumping.
So we are going with the darker one I made?

I think the fact you kept the eye black seemingly cleaned the image up some and changed to grey the rabbit body marking made all the difference as I see it and resulted in the better render within those few pixels those bunnies are rendered within.

No, I think it's just about right, if an old boy like me can see that there is 'something' there, I should hope one of our members can figure out the connection between Easter eggs, pinball and that means it must be a Jersey!

The darker the chocolate, the better the taste to me, so include dark chocolate drop.

Although I do notice the forum posted images appear a little sharper then how the actual Forum logo is rendered by XenForo. Just curious if there are any logo rendering options in admin that might be better turned on or off?

I am resizing them from 1200x200, to 1178x196 before I upload them. Otherwise the right edge of logo goes past the place where it is right now.
When I am working on the logos, I am using 1200x200 dimensions.
All of my templates are set at this size.
When the logo is completed, I scale it down to 1178x196 and upload that.
This is what the dimensions are set to in that section also.
This lines up the logo with the right side.

Here is 1178x196 version.
See if it looks different...
