Why don't you do a halloween theme based on pinball games, like elvira etc. Lots there to work with and match the sites direction.

I would feel alot better if you were the one making the Halloween logo.
You are a pro at graphics, and we wouldn't have to worry about it not looking good enough.
I am not a pro.
I can add hats to chickaball girl, and change what she is sitting on, but I am no where near what you are capable of.
We all want what is best for the site, and we all know you can do a much better job at this than me.

Your doing perfectly fine in my opinion. We all have to learn, and the only way is to get experience. As to me, well, I'm going on vacation end this week, taking a cruise with the GF and she put her foot down and said no computer, so there you go... be gone most of october so miss canadian turkey day and doubt be back in time to do a halloween one.
Maybe remembrance day, which is nov 11th. Being canadian I should do the special Canadian holidays. Tomorrow is one for the native people (don't ask) but I couldn't be bothered. :)

Looking at the scythe again, I can see a more upright rotation should be a better fit and look, I gather chic on a pumpkin will have to be moved over some to accommodate her Magical Scythe...rotated by 30 degrees.

Go the Hawks, not that I follow that league...

On a side note you may get a better scythe rotated image if you rotate yourself. I used xnview and had to set compression to 1, at 0, the image went to 44Mb in size!

That said the difference is most likely not going to be noticeable.

I think it would look better with the scythes flipped blade and shaft leaning the other way, witch means moving the pumpkins over toward the edge to accommodate the blade.

I just didn't want chic a ball new dress to be covered up, though looking at it rendered if you can get the scythe shafts straight up blades out, that might be better otherwise it may look like the scythes are about to fall over.
