Gottlieb System 1 Drop Targets Issue

I have a Gottlieb Pinball Pool. The two banks of drop targets won't reset on start-up. I replaced the Driver Board and the cable that links the MPU to the Driver Board (A1-J5 to A3-J1). I know that all 4 coils that lift the drop targets are working because I ran a jumper from the flipper coil to each of the coils and I can get them to fire when I press the flipper button.

Any ideas on what's going on? Also, the coil fails during the self test.

Any help from the forum is GREATLY appreciated.

did you check if there is any fuses mounted prob on playfield for the bank resets. these are usually 1 or 2 amp slo-blo . or there might be aux. driver transistors on playfield for these coils also.

YOU NAILED IT!! I didn't even know that there WAS a fuse mounted on the playfield for the bank resets (I'm a newbie). Replaced it and the drop targets are working again.

I have a Gottlieb Pinball Pool too and also the two banks of drop targets won't reset on start-up or after normal play, which is everytime before the next ball is played. But, when I replace the slow blow fuse on the back of the playfield, it will work once, one reset, then that same fuse blows. Did not see any loose wires and tested the reset solenoids and they checked out as well. At a loss as to why this is happening.
