If it's not the ROM providing different game rules that is at fault,
then it might be that the pinball parts on the table are not being hit by the ball.

That would usually be a Trigger on a Ramp or in a lane that is too small and the ball manages to get past it without hitting it. In which case I would try to find any such Triggers and increase their Radius in the editor. Click on it to Highlight it in Blue, then in the editor's Options panel on the right side look for the Trigger > Colors and Formatting area and increase the Trigger Radius in the textbox.
Then check the Trigger in the editor to make sure it is a working size with no overhang.

Sometimes you will need to Right-Click on a Trigger or Wall or other pinball Object that is on top of the part that you want to highlight and then choose Draw in Back or Draw in Front to then be able to get to the Trigger in order to work on it.

EDIT: If it is a small Trigger that is at fault and it is a Trigger with a Custom Shape (not Round) then you will need to click on the circular Control Points on a Custom Trigger. Hold the mouse button and Drag the Control Points to increase the size of the Trigger. For Round Triggers, follow the original hints to increase the Trigger Radius.

Not possible for me. Dial-up Internet is very slow, like 4 KBits/sec. (4,000 bits per second) transfer rate.
A standard high speed Internet connection is 6 MBits/sec. (6,000,000 bits/sec. transfer rate).
A standard video uses 3,000,000 Hz. roughly equal to standard high speed Internet.

I'm sorry about that. Maybe someone else with a reasonable connection can help.

No no. You don't want to add any Triggers.
You only want to make sure that the Triggers that are already on the table are large enough to make good contact with the ball.

Sometimes the authors make the Triggers too small.

ok the triggers its in 25 in the version 1.2 and 30 in 1.3 so i put 100 in both tables and in the version 1.2 its ticked lock so i quit the lock

If there was any space between the Ramp and lanes and the Triggers, then that might be the problem, but you want to make the Triggers just big enough to fill between the lines of the Ramp width or the lane width. If the Trigger is too big, it will spill over the borders of the Ramp or lane and will activate outside of where it should be.

A Radius of 100 is probably o.k., but I would make that Trigger just large enough to fill the space between the Powerball magnets (those two gray and red posts at the drain on the Powerball upper deck). Maybe 60 or 70, but I would go by sight when choosing the Radius.

And oh yeah. 25 was probably too small for the ball to hit it like it should.

ok i modified to 70 and fail they dont give me a jackpot again

I can't really help you with the problems (VPinMame) but I wanted to mention that I installed the k-Lite codecs and the video you posted in your original message now works.

If the Trigger set to a Radius of 100 worked for the Jackpot, then use it.
Otherwise, if it's not the ROM or the Operator settings or the parts placement on the table, then I'm stumped.

The only other thing I can think of is to go into the Operators menu and turn off the FREE PLAY.
Press the END key (to open the coin door)

Press the top 0 (zero) key twice to enter the Operator Menu.

Press either the 8 or 9 key to cycle to the ADJUSTMENTS menu and then press 0 to enter it.

Press the 8 or 9 key to cycle through the ADJUSTMENTS menu and press 0 to select something like FREE PLAY or the credits setting if it says FREE PLAY, then press 8 or 9 to change the setting to FREE PLAY On/Off and then press the 0 key to set it and look for the confirmation message in the DMD. This setting differs among machines. Some machines have a separate FREE PLAY setting while others have it in the coin credits setting.

Then press the 7 key repeatedly until you are back in Play Mode and press the END key (to close the door)..

the problem continues... dont give me jackpot not in lost in the zone and not in powerball mania

I have to tell you. I'm stumped.
Can you start the game and press the F6 key, then with the F6 menu onscreen,
press the ALT and Print Screen keys at the same time.

Open Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.
When Paint opens, at the top click Edit > Paste.
If all goes well, you should see a copy of the F6 menu. Click on the image to anchor it, then at the top click File > Save as and save it as a .jpg or .png image file. I know you know how to do this, but others read this stuff for the first time and it might help those who don't know it.

Post it here.

Hey, I got an idea. The picture reminded me, but this is all I can think of at the moment.

The F6 menu states, "Reset + VPinMame must Not skip startup tests".

This is because, on many mid-late 90's Williams/Bally machines that have the toys like the gumball machine in TZ or the rotating head in The Machine: Bride of Pinbot, the first time you turn on the machine before playing it, those toys have to run a startup test Calibration so that the mechanical behavior sets the toys up to behave.

Otherwise the toys may not behave as they are supposed to.

So if that is the cause of it, and I hope so, then try this.
Close Visual Pinball, if it is open.
Find the VPinMame\nvram folder. Look inside for the tz_94h and all other files with the name tz_ and Delete them.

Then find the VPinMame\cfg folder. Look inside and find all of the tz_ files and Delete those too.

This should clear any bad .nv and .cfg files that may have been written if the Calibration of the Toys was for any reason disrupted.

Then open Visual Pinball and Twilight Zone and Do Not Start a Game.
Just let the Player warm up the table and watch the DMD while it displays the TEST message with the fill bar. When it finishes, Then Press the top 7 key on the keyboard and Wait for any tests or calibrations to finish. Do Not press the NUMPAD 7. It will not work. The Calibrations will be complete when the DMD returns to a normal Play Mode display of the game name, scores, and whatever Cows may appear around The Moon EDIT: In the DMD.

And Please, Let Me Know if that does the trick. On Bride of Pinbot, if you do not allow the machine to calibrate, The Bride's Head Will Fall Off and she will appear Cross-Eyed. This is true.

VPinMame writes a .nv file and a .cfg file the first time you play a table.
The .nv file *I think* stores the high score and credits information.
The .cfg file is shorthand for configuration, game settings, etc.

I'm not sure which of those two actually store the Calibration data, but deleting both files might solve the problem if it is caused by a mis-calibration of the gumball machine or other toys. A miscalibration messes up the order of game rules and can cause misbehavior by the toys.

I am sorry. I don't have video. It's really easy if you know where the VPinMame is installed on the hard drive.

If you used the install kit for Visual Pinball, then look in the (usually) C:\Pinball\nvram folder and the C:\Pinball\cfg folder.
On Windows XP click Start, then My Computer, then Drive C:\, then the Pinball folder. I wish I could help with Windows 7 or 8, but I am still using XP and I am not familiar with the newer versions of Windows.

Else if you installed VPinMame manually and know where the VPinMame folder is located, usually the folder that you unzipped the VPinMame files to, then look in there. VPinMame will install a nvram folder and a cfg folder and after playing the table once, there should be a file in each of those folders with the name of the ROM that you selected to use. For instance, a tz_94h.nv file in the nvram folder and a tz_94h.cfg file in the cfg folder. Delete those files from each folder, but keep the folders.

Then open Visual Pinball and try the game, but remember to wait and watch the DMD (the scoreboard) finish the test and then press the 7 key. The tests and calibrations will repeat and then the game will automatically switch to Play Mode when the calibrations are finished. It only takes a minute or so for the game to calibrate itself and you only need to do this the first time you play the game, or when you reset the game by deleting those .nv and .cfg files for the game.

its gumball test and its ok more? i have all the tests and its ok the problem its in the script

I did some looking around and, do the Jackpots fail when playing with the steel ball or when playing using "the ceramic Powerball"?

In "Battle the Power" mode "the ceramic Powerball" will not work with Magnets.
And "Powerball Mania" has a different set of rules from those of the standard gameplay.

This is a Farsight emulator page listing all known peculiarities involving TZ.

http://pinballarcadefans.com/archive/index.php/t-2681.html

So there *might be* a script bug in the VPinMame version involving "the ceramic Powerball" and things not correctly sorted out or not correctly linked to the ROM switches. I don't know.

    @xenonph, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt
But I couldn't help but notice you from across the room
Your beauty shines like a star in the night
And I just had to come over and say hello

Excuse me, but I couldn't resist
Your smile is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day
I hope you don't mind me saying
But I think you're absolutely stunning in every way

I know this may sound a bit forward
But I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by
I just had to tell you how I feel
And hope that maybe you'll give me a chance to make you mine

Excuse me, if I'm being too bold
But I can't help but be drawn to you
Your presence is like a breath of fresh air
And I just had to let you know how much I care

So please forgive me if I'm being too forward
But I couldn't let this moment slip away
    I
