All Of Them!!
Can someone please tell me why almost all of my VP9 Games have plunger problems? It's not a matter of the plunger being strong enough, the ball goes up and comes back down. On some games like Spiderman the ball goes up only a short distance, like there was an obstruction. Power is NOT an issue. Jokerz, Corvette, and others do this as well.:banghead:

Betcha you can't get a ball to go through the flipper on any of the VP8 tables I've made. :p

Hello, StevOz;

It'd be nice to be able to use soft-catch and hard-stop again (my names, not IPDB's). Which of your tables would you recommend for the experiment?

GSG

The work around does not allow for those techniques. I'm not sure VP9 allows for those techniques either.
Elastisity is actually a dynamic physic, a tire on a spring post would not have as much as a tire on a solid post, and a flipper that was held into place by a solenoid rod would have more than one that was not, to the point that a loose on sitting on the table would no have any, not enough to effect a ball, the ball would push it.

I,ve had the ball through the flipper on RO GO and Flash 1.95 from IRP in VP8 in particular.

Speed up the downswing in the script and it won't happen.
VP is nothing special in this regard. With balls through the flipper it is just another piece of crap. Nothing is so good or special that it is worth using if it has a problem this bad.

Then again most are good enough or special enough and it's not that difficult to guard against with a few added lines to the script, can I call BS on ya post SM?

Couple of lines of code...checkout any of my original VP8 tables it's in the script.

Oh yes, hats off to Shockman, just in case anyone doesn't know by now he was the first to discover this workaround for VP6 as it was....VP9 circumvents that issue.

Yes. That is exactly what I was saying. It is simple, effective, and it makes games work.

I don't know what people are playing that has balls through the flipper in VP8 and below unless it is with the version of the core.vbs file that PacDude released that brought back the problem.
