Yes, Indian Giver is the correct term. And one reason the comments were amde here is because this is the site that Jon and I run. Also if they had been posted at VPF, good old lily white VPF, they would have been deleted or edited out, which is their right.
Here, as long as you don't post or link to Porn Sites, most anything goes, since we're all adults, and censorship is something that both Jon and I are totally against. And since you are a member here, I had no way of knowing how often you stop by. At least now you might visit more often, and for that, we all benefit, if only through civil disagreement and meaningful debate. We'll probably never change one another's opinions and ideas, but it's always good to have these kinds of discussions, if for no other reason than stress relief.
Personally you seem like a nice enough fellow, and yes you are helpful to others when possible, and do share and find images, but none of that changes the fact that it seems that on a number of occasions you have berated me for voicing displeasure in how AJ runs VPF. Especially irksome was when I posted a series of questions to AJ after AJ had told me to either ask the questions or shut up. So yes, I posted some direct questions, and to this day, AJ has never answered those questions, which he told me to ask.
So, if nothing else, this should demonstrate that Pinball Nirvana and VPF are world's apart in attitude. Here, one of the fellows running the site is actively involved day in and day out, and even if you don't agree with me, at least you can discuss it with me. VPF on the other hand, could be run by a auto-responding computer for all the input and involvement we get from AJ. And our debates and discussions would never be allowed at VPF, since they would be deemed too argumentative. What VPF sees as argumentative I see and enlightening and worthwhile, and yes, even entertaining to a degree.
So, just because your opinions don't appear to be shared by many people here, I hope you'll continue to visit and join in our discussions, even if they aren't focused on you or VPF. No matter what we feel about each other, not just you and I but all of us, we still have the common thread of pinball that binds us together, and that alone means that you'll always be more than welcome here.
Now go soak your head, maybe it'll bring you to your senses.
John
