yeah, its very simple, i played along until you stepped over the line.
i always followed the rules.
never dissed anyone.
you need to be a little more tolerant of people and their opinions....you had it coming....
here is an example of the abuse i took from you in the shout box....
you used this in a very negative and disrespectful way...
i shrugged it off and didn't make any noise about it

I could watch Columbo over and over even though i have watched every episode numerous times.
I seen only one episode and that was long ago I don't even remember but the episode it was at some Military School and someone was killed by a cannon ball and Columbo finds a torn shirt or something. When I have the time I will try to watch that episode and some other episodes.

Alright, here I go all sounding like a know-it-all (or complete dumbass?), but a few years ago I was gushing about Columbo to a patent-lawyer guy at the local sushi place.

He said-- "you know, the whole model of that show was based on Crime & Punishment, right?
And I just said like Scooby-Doo...."herrh!" I mean, sweet Jesus, I'd read C&P fricken' decades before, and couldn't quite reconcile it.

Yeah but, yeah but, yeah but:

Bah... great show, either way!

Haha so, got a favorite ep?

Me, I personally like the FOUR he did with Patrick McGoohan, i.e. "The Prisoner" or "Secret Agent Man."

I recently saw this show on PBS station, and was trying to remember where I saw this actor before.
Was thinking maybe Harry Potters step dad, but then thought no, it can't be him.
Then I thought maybe it was the guy on Ace Ventura Pet Detective 2. Not for sure though.

EDIT:
Just looked it up, and he is Weasleys Dad from Harry Potter movie!
Knew I saw him on Harry Potter!

How to dial a murder, is one of my favs.
Great eppie!
Bad guy Nicol Williamson also played Merlin in Excalibur (1980). Best Merlin performance I've ever seen, giving it some real 'Celtic character' I thought.

Wait, who are you talking about, exactly? Because I don't think McGoohan was in Harry Potter.

I think the last role I saw him in was as the bad guy's leprous father in Braveheart.

I was talking about a show called "Father Brown" that was on PBS station. (You left link to book above.)
I guess it was Mark Williams who played the character.
He also plays Weasleys father on Harry Potter movies.

Oh wow, didn't know they made a show about the stories!
Will have to check it out!

I happen to like detective stuff a lot. Last really goodie I saw was one called "Vera," set near Newcastle upon Tyne, England, near the coast.

Vera is a nearly retired detective chief inspector of the fictional Northumberland & City Police, who is obsessive about her work. She plods along in a disheveled state, but has a calculating mind and despite her irascible personality, she cares deeply about her work and colleagues. She often proves her superior skills by picking up small errors in her team members' thought processes. Vera forms a close relationship with sergeants Joe Ashworth and Aiden Healy. -WP

YT has a lot of full eppies, and here's S01E01:

It's lasted like 13 seasons so far, which is kinda crazy!

Speaking of our anointed, have you watched Father Ted?

Ah matey, I could watch that show endlessly (and The IT Crowd, also by Graham Linehan).

The one thing that's a fly in the soup is that like JK Rowling, he's virulently anti-trans. They both seem to think that the main reason for switching genders is so a person can go in the restroom and creep on people, even though in reality trans people mainly just want to be left alone.

So it's a firestorm response to a problem that doesn't really exist in the real world, and major chunks of their fanbases continue to give them hell for that.

"I'm PLUMB out of coin!"
