Masters of the Universe - Collector's Edition (PinEvent V2, FizX 3.3)

SS Original Table BAM FizX FP Masters of the Universe - Collector's Edition (PinEvent V2, FizX 3.3) 1.2

No permission to download
Solid State Machines
Future Pinball
You need pipnup player 1.5 installed and setup, and the included pup-pack installed and setup, and you need pupdmd enabled for the mode you play in as well as pupstream in PinEvent_V2_settings.txt. The pup FullDMD display must not be covered by another window.

All described in the PinEvent V2 Guide as directed by the included Install Instructions.
Thanks got it all fixed changed the hud scale for the left apron to .65 to get it to fit nice on my cabinet with using your cfg file.

Lost / stuck Balls still? Try this? May or may not help.

If you have other problems by setting Frame Limiter to AUTO (stutters, etc)... then make sure you have the futurepinball.exe set to "disable fullscreen optimizations" first, as without that set you'll get the odd stutters occurring which is a separate thing.

Sped my table up greatly thanks!

TerryRed updated Masters of the Universe - Collector's Edition (PinEvent V2, FizX 3.3) with a new update entry:

1.2 - Lost_Ball_key, Force_Tilt_key

- added PUP_SSF_Max_Volume setting to TABLE OPTIONS - PinEvent
- moved PUP_BallRoll_Max_Volume setting to TABLE OPTIONS - PinEvent
- added Lost_Ball_Key option if player lost a ball from a glitch, has no balls left, and can't progress (TABLE OPTIONS)
- added Force_Tilt_key option in case game became stuck and player can't progress (TABLE OPTIONS)

Lost_Ball_Key and Force_Tilt_key are disabled by default. They are only meant as a last resort option if your game became stuck for whatever...

Hi @TerryRed, another new one since my 1st post, thank you for this beautiful table.

Please, i have a question. With a lot of friends who have a pincab, we just regret that the fans located on our Topper are "not supported", nor the gear.

But I don't understand, in the script it says :
  • Gear_DOF_enabled = true
  • Fan_DOF_enabled = true
Almost all of us play on the table every night, but at no time have we had the fan and gear launch. Is this normal? Is there something we've missed? Do we need to add additional scripts or options to activate?

For example, among the many events on this table, there's an obvious one, when He-Man extends his sword and white lightning appears everywhere with the shaker. Adding fan activation at this precise moment would have been really great.

Thanks again!

Gear motor was specifically not used as it would be running constantly with all the events that could trigger it. This is a very busy table. Too much DOF is also a bad thing. Take it from someone who has added a lot of DOF over the years.

DOF is exactly as I intended it to be. I also have a blower fan on my cabinet.

Very nice table Terry.

I just downloaded popper, and used that with the built in updater. I did set my pup options to 2 screen, even though I am in desktop mode. Seems to work perfectly fine, after a quick play, despite the fact I didn't update Bam to the latest beta yet. (It may have been included with the updater though, it's 2 am here so rather go to bed at the moment)
One thing, when the ball is lost, the table changes it's viewing angle, but doesn't change it back for the next ball (I use basic F1 because I am only 6 feet tall, not 15 if you use other settings). Is that a flag or a setting I can change to prevent that? It's a bit annoying having to manually change my view back every time.

Yes, Baller's built-in updater is including my FP-BAM updates / files / bats from my AIO including the required BAM beta. So currently anyone using that should be good to go for MOTU CE. Those files are needed as you need the newest BAM update with 4 GB patch applied, etc for tables like this (which are already applied with that updater). I can't assume everyone uses Baller so I always refer to installing the latest AIO as it will work for everyone the same either way (or if they mess up something, etc).

As for the table's PUP-Pack options in the pup-pack folder (PUP is optional for the table to run, it's not required)... that is only needed if you are using PUPDMD features and displaying the PuP-Pack using Pinup Player. If you only have one screen, then you need to use Option 5 or Option 6, both which need additional setup for single screens as covered in their guides. (the pup-pack won't even start without doing this let alone be shown correctly on the same screen as FP)

Don't confuse the built in FP HUD and Backbox video overlays (which have full sized 16x9 splash images and a few videos) with the pup-pack. Some of it may look similar, but they are very different.

The table has Camera Control built in which is intentional for my PinEvent releases as they have their own optional preset Static Camera views for desktop mode. This is to allow the user to choose one preset that is fitted to this specific table perfectly (many people don't want a moving view).

This is set by Static_Desktop_Camera in the table script in the TABLE OPTIONS section near the top. It is applied at startup or it can be toggled during attract mode with plunger key. This also allows the table zoom out to another static view during multiball so the player can see all balls during those modes (in case they were using a zoomed in follow the ball FP camera view, etc) and then when multiball is done it goes back to whatever is set for Static_Desktop_Camera.

If the player want to use their "FP Camera" (or their own BAM Static Camera pressing C) view instead (the function keys), then just set Static_Desktop_Camera = 0 to set it permanently (or toggle with plunger during attract mode for that game only)

If the player doesn't want the camera view to change during multiball then set Multiball_Zoomout_Camera = false (I recommended keeping this set to true for most desktop players)

The included TABLE MANUAL and INFO guide covers lots of handy info about the table.... and the RULES guide covers gameplay.

Don't forget to use Plunger or Special 2 for Orko Shots (HOLD the key) and Toggle Modes (press the key).

@, As of my knowledge cutoff in 2023, the 1933 version of the film "Contact" does not exist. It seems there might be a confusion with the title or the year. The well-known film "Contact" is a science fiction drama released in 1997, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey. It is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Carl Sagan.

If you are looking for a different film from 1933 or a film with a similar title, please provide more details so I can assist you better. If you are indeed referring to the 1997 film "Contact," it is widely available on various streaming platforms, DVD, and Blu-ray.

New to FP. I'm on Linux and using Lutris. Have installed FP from the Lutris repo. It does not have BAM support so I can only play non-BAM tables. Some of the tables show up w/o a playfield image...how do I fix that?
