As someone typically 'not a fan of anime' outside of Tezuka & Miyazaki & their legion of imitators, I thought this logo was pretty cool & refreshing!

The icy lettering of the logo also brings to mind some cool games we used to play back in the day...

For example-- there was one on the NES that I thought was really clever, just that I always sucked at it. What was it again..? It had to do with trying to work yourself down a series of icy platforms, rolling an egg in front of you, trying to avoid the bad guys.

I swear I'm not making that up, lol...

Oh shoot, I remember when you & I were totally obsessed with 8-bit & NES games for a while there, endlessly talking about all that jazz in messages & posts...!

And you were the one who first introduced me to the "Lolo" adventures!
(haha, I love 'em)

IIRC, the specific game in question was... I think licensed by Nintendo?

From what I can recall-- it was a well-known, icy platform game early in NES' history, but it kinda got faded out over time, if that makes sense...

Canada dry was a advertisement, nothing to do with canada. For pinball related, ice fever or power play only ones to come to mind.
