This sure has started to come together Shaockman. I don't think your aiming scheme would be that much of a problem if the sweep was a bit slower. I have encountered a new problem, at least new to me. I had several gutter balls not make it the the kicker, and roll back down the gutter to the front of the game which of course ended the game. Also had a few frames where the second ball was not registered. That second ball was usually, and maybe always, a gutter ball. Hope this is helpful.

Added pinfall routines for two new first roll shots, both washouts further back.
Started Spare cleanups.

You scare the hell out of me when I don't see you post anything for a while. My gosh, don't do that!!! I been thinking about that version you had with the flipper sweeping back and forth, I din't really care for that idea. I liked the WIP11 version the most.

A butt-load is more than is needed, but not a waste. The giant flipper was only a joke, too bad though, it would have simplified things a great deal. Have you ever dropped a bowling ball due to sweaty hands? I have. The ball through the flipper could have been called a feature with this thing. Nice to see you. I'm working on a rounder ball with crisper edge too.

Hea Shock.....I think the Ball could be just a tad bit smaller (from the starting point of view). It looks a little large at that point.

Yes I said that there is no reason to give the site money if it is not going to be maintained. That 5 tables a day should be enough. The membership was told that I said I was going to hunt the staff down and kill them one by one by one of the staffers and that I was going to do some lesser level of violence by another.
Speaking of truth though, I was told a day or two before, might have even been the same day that if I posted a rant outside the AC or one thread in another place that they would confine me to that said AC, Argument Clinic. So of course I felt free to post a couple more outside those places, because I was willing to accept that move into the AC, wanted to say what was on my mind, and TRUSTED THEM THAT FAR ANYWAY. That's when they said that instead of meaning that if they D/Aed me I would come after a refund for real, that comming for real meant I was comming to do harm, but they seem to think they know more about what I mean than I do. I apologised for the MISUNDERSTANDING, but it fell on deaf ears. It would have not got anyone banned I think other than me. Long story, in a nutshell, I as well as others questioned Black's involvment with VP based on what he was saying about what he was going to do to it and what he was going to do with it. This still plagues me, but as far as I can see was always true, but angered some members and the entire staff. If it was not for the grief I was feed for that, then I would have never got a D/A, would most likely be on the staff and certainly not have been banned.

The Bowler.
I got the shooting much finer, much higher res. I have experimented with giving the shooter 1/2 to 3/4 of a second of aiming after the shot was well. This is right after the release and feels like part of the shooting process. I like that, but as optional perhaps. The first roll shots are there with hundreds of leaves of which all are makable with perfect shots plus random luck factor for tough shots like splits. Spares to tell the truth need coded from scratch. I tried using the falls the first rolls made, and it made for some nice spares, but for some wack one as well.

I might re-scale the entire table. I could re-scale the ball, but then if a decal was used it would orbit the ball instead of be on it. I'll do a feasibility study soon and if I can do that and get everything back into order in one day's work I will.

Shock, your not missing anything. It's the same ole bullshit day in day out. Making rules and applying them to those they don't like is the norm at VPF. I may be in the same boat as you real soon, as I've been given a second warning! Like I really give a rats ass.

I made an aimer bar out of a collection of lights and that works a treat. real smooth and high resolution aiming, just need to do some scripting.
I should have just slapped the spares in and released it. I had no idea what it was going to take to do this up right.
However, you think this took long, you should have been around when I was plugging away at Mr. & Mrs. PAC-MAN.

Spares are going to be triggers that set vectors that flag pins to drop a number of ways flagging other pins in the process. later in the shot, with out the ball hitting them. Hitting Spares will not have to 'know' any leaves, they will pick them up.

I wish I had a rom that and I could just hook up triggers as it wants.

Only second shot triggers holding up a release. I say release, but anyone that wants it can have it at any time. except for VPM.

Is there any ball bowler roms supported in VPM? It would be so easy to hook this up to a Rom, I think. Even a puck bowler rom might do if it was not a rebounding, but stright line to end deal. Anyway, this would be a perfect graphics engine for that, because depending on pov settings this can be made to look like one of those stubby shuffle puck bowlers on legs, a ball bowler of any length, or a regulation bowling lane.

Anyone know how to get rid of the drift a ball does?

I have a photo of a dart cabinet, love that game two. Got two double bull's eyes on one turn last night I did. Anyway I almost forgot, it's going into the backdrop. I was thinking of an occupied warehouse/pub setting. perhaps a speek easy, with a wall and doorway behind the bowler, the dart cabinet against the wall and a pool table visible in the other room. Now that I know a bit about active ball, I think I can get the dart board working also, two games in one room. 301 maybe, nothing complicated. Yes I'm talking about animated flight of a dart from hold to hit. A juke box would be possible to. What years was the early jukes built?

You might check out Alley Cats, which is a VPM puck bowler. Just played a game, and although I didn't care for the way the puck moved, it does have controls to position the puck, and for aiming.

Thanks. I've seen that. No, the switches is about all I would be interested in. Like I said, it's just three walls, and a new trigger config. away from working like one of those machines though.
