What music are you listening to?

Just Frank Zappa
I love Frank to pieces, but that's the kind of song you mail-in to fulfill yon contractual demands, lol.

Here, JP-- here's an 'American' song for France:

Skinny ladies, indeed!

Been revisiting my extensive CD collection ... so many excellent bands/artists there.
This never gets old for me ... love it as much today as when I first heard it in 1969:

While I'm on the old nostalgia trip, this is another beauty from 1969:

Inner mounting flame 😍

An oldie and one that will be played many times over in the coming days...

In an other hand, not so bad

Just a friendly reminder that Jons brothers Radio show starts at 9PM Eastern tonight.
Find more info here in his post...

@Free Bally!
What a great "Seafood Platter" of songs!
How do you find these?
Great selection.

Speaking of Seafood, your shows theme reminded me of a very punny song about the sea.

I was waiting for Robert Palmer to start singing on that second song of your first show.
Could have passed for Led Zepplin.

Also loved the Crawdaddy song. lol

Keep up the great shows!
Carry on.
:salut:

Sorry, very sorry, I've forget young Al Jarreau...

You like Joni Mitchell, no problem. You like Jaco Pastorius, no problem. You like Pat Metheny, no problem, and Lyle Mays, no problem ...
Just see (and hear) that. Sorry for the pub.

Glad you found it tasty! Mostly, songs just find me. F'rinstance, couple weeks ago heard a 2nd song about "dirt" and without even looking stumbled over a couple more since then. So someday there'll be a show about dirt! Yuk.

Yep, played that one for a show about fish. Another one from Kip went out 13 months ago: "Whip Me Santa Claus" oO

I will be posting weekly reminders here before the start of each weekly show.

I notice the radio station you DJ at is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Rochester NY.
Well it just so happens that my late brother worked for a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Rochester NY!
It was a Football magazine called the Pigskin Parlour.
He covered the Seahawks, and did many interviews with current and former players.
I was his photographer.
Back in the Dennis Erickson coaching days.
Good times.

you-all STILL haven't figured out what's going on here???

After his 2nd-last day at work, science teacher goes out drinking with the nerds, and at sunrise realizes "I have to get up in a half hour." Knowing he'll collapse if he sobers up, he tosses a few doubles down and soldiers on, eyes red as the sun. The girl in the back said everyone attack, because she could blow the harp like a bullfrog.
