A little history, this goes back to the very beginning of Pinball Nirvana and was then named The Magic of Flipperless (over 18 years ago), my older brother found the chick and knew how to add a pinball under her, the current logo was created by shiva.

It still seems awesome to me all of these years later but with technology these days could probably be better.

Here's a thread about logo ideas from 2006 that I'm currently trying to fix the links to, but the excellent attachments still seem to work:

We are looking to upgrade the site logo, the current logo is a great, and we love her. That said, the site logo needs reworking for a higher resolution and all alternatives will be considered, I'm kind of partial to the redhead myself.

Well actually you can, as it seems each theme come with its own site logo, shades of grey here for example.

Originally we wanted to just make that original logo a better resolution.
I tried AI Upscaling the image, but it gave the lady a black eye.



Here is another entry with new girl. Possibly a little too flashy.
She looks like she is pushing the pinball, or helping to nudge it?

I can't wait to see what ideas everyone else comes up with!

I have spent the last two days arguing with 'woke' people about sexism in pinball
As I said, I like the girls in red, nothing wrong with a pin-up girl
I think the bent-over pose goes too far, it has the potential for people not to join, get people in trouble if they browse at work

Let's just hope the "Woke crowd" doesn't start demanding the removal and destruction of all Pinball Machines with any ladies in the artwork!
Funny they can't even define what a women is.
Did they ever stop to think, that maybe all of these ladies in the artwork identify themselves as men?
I am sure those same people would say all Pinball Machines are racist too, so why not get rid of all Pinball Machines.

I tried that one, but you need a Vulkan something or other, so it never worked for me.
I upscaled it on an online conversion website.
Give it a shot and see what you can do with it George!

I don't know what Vulkan is but I'm pretty sure I don't have it. Upscayl works without it for me.

There is a new version of Upscayl that produces errors on anything that you try to add. I saw it on a website. Evidently it uses something in the program called Vulkan. I reinstalled my old version and got this. The detail on the girl is not so hot but no black eyes. We could possibly overlay a new image of the girl on top if you like it.

The horizontal lines in background also seem to have faded out.

I found the background lines texture and added it to my version.

Ok so I made the Nudging Necessary smaller to better match original logo.
Also added the exclamation point.
