Possibly one of the earliest side shooter pin toys. Clues are the simplistic design, which I've never seen before, and only 3 scoring cups.
Clown Sideshooter might be one of the earliest, if not the first sideshooter ever made. My guess is that it was made in the mid 1920s, only to fall victim of the Great Depression. Later such games were more streamlined in design, and more standard in size.
