Looks nice, I like the embossing on the letting, not understanding the cross reflection in the ball far right corner?

it's a ankh. Didn't come out great though, so will remove it or find something else.

Had some spare time and was bored....

I like this one the best. Nice and simple, and very clean. I did end up redoing quite a bit as it was very blurry in the lines. I did remove the lady on the bumper, as it stuck out like a sore thumb, so I replaced it with something a bit more appropiate. :)

Took quite a bit of work though...

What you guys think? Like this one the best or a previous one I posted?

Looks good to me, though scary, when Lord Shiva smiles...well you know the rest! oO

Just noticed some hidden code, was not there before... :scratchchin:

I really love these Logo's guys!

I had previously suggested Bastille Day but it occurred to me due to relentless NBC commercials which are sometimes disguised as friggin' news that the Olympics are in Paris this summer.

Just an idea. :trampolin: :boxing2:🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️👟

Thanks JPH, though this is xenonph's thing really, I just did the one because well, it was my site after all...
BTW xenonph, what graphics program are you using? I have rebuilt the entire thing from scratch, with super high resolution masters now, and everything is set up so every element can be changed or modified in seconds or any new additions can beadded. If your software supports psd layered files, I can send you the master file, should make life a bit easier.

This is not my thing!
This is our thing!
Unlike you and StevOz, I am not a professional at editing pics. (I am self taught.)
So no way I could do this without you guys!

I have been using GIMP program to edit pics.
It does support layers I believe.

Err, same here I was only able to use VP because I knew BASIC from pre Commodore VIC 20 days. We had a Digital PDP 16 bit super computer back at school serving 24 local terminals at 1200 baud and 16 more remote terminals at surrounding schools at 300 baud.

I'm self taught as well. Not a pro, never even used online tutorials, just been playing around and seeing what happens when I try something out. I will package up my psd file, and attach it here tomorrow. Should be quite useable in GIMP, so you should be able to change fonts, colours and blends pretty quickly. I kept this plug-in free as gimp does not support photoshop plug-ins, though it has it's own plug-ins

My Master psd file,as a zip, plus a png version. This includes the shivasite banner layers as well, though hidden and needs to be turned on in your layers view. (Not too sure with how to do that in gimp) I also included the girl on bumper and the stars background as well, did it both sides for you.Hope you can figure this out, the size is 4800 by 800

It does indeed work in GIMP.

Just some casual observations, the space between Pinball and Nirvana is greatly reduced and the ball between is obsolete.

You can move the text and hide the ball. Everything is adjustable in the psd file included in the zip. the png is just a copy of the psd file. The background is a tileable pattern, so you can change that, the text you can change to a different font, or make the text skinny or fat, or change the pattern or gradient.

What I do is put all my graphics in the one file, and hide or make visable the design elements I want. I can reuse exsiting elements, or add new ones. The text can be different colors, with a different pattern, or you can overlay a image over then. Xenonph can add all of his previous banner artwork into one master file, and reuse them or easily change them if needed to save time making new banners. Some of my graphics, like circle light inserts, are made with multiple colors and textures, so I can just mix and match which layers I want to be visible, make any quick changes, and use that. Saves hours having to redo each one from scratch.

Pretty powerful stuff. takes a while to learn all the things, but once you do, you can make some pretty neat designs. If you need help with some things like the blends with this x, just ask. Once you learn the concepts (which are pretty easy once you do) you will be able to crank out some pretty amazing graphics pretty quickly and easily.

Thanks!
Will definately help!

So have you finalized your 25th Anniversary logo?
Post the png here, as I think we should display it as soon as possible, being the 3rd of March is less than 30 hours away!
(Less than that if you live on Australia!)

I'm happy with the last one I just put up Anything else would be kind of overdoing it. It's different than the normal banner, but now you have the master psd file, you can do stuff like that. The graphics are in there actually, you just have to make the folder visible, and the others non-visible. The actual png is in this thread, it's pretty big though, but it's to the exact scale of the normal PN logo.

That is what I thought, but wanted to make sure.
All in favor of uploading this beauty right now, say aye.
AYE!
A like on this post will suffice as an aye!

It does actually. (On the blue theme)
Would you like to make a Site Announcement to invite the community to help celebrate 25th Anniversary of ShivaSite?
Something similar to your "20 years ago a little pinball site was born" post?

The earliest snapshot of your site on Wayback Machine is from May 24th 2002.

And another on March 3rd 2005 with new logo.

It would be great if you added something like a virtual pinball community history bio of yourself, as you were there at the very beginning of this pinball communities inception!

Congrats by the way!
You have made a huge impact on this community!
I am sure you could tell a great story of your historic pinball journey!

I like it, whoever thought of the babe pulling the plunger was exceptional!
:special:

I say we leave it up for another day!
Everyone loves it!

Or do you want me to switch back to the Original logo now that it is the 4th?
