This is not my thing! Thanks JPH, though this is xenonph's thing really, I just did the one because well, it was my site after all...
BTW xenonph, what graphics program are you using? I have rebuilt the entire thing from scratch, with super high resolution masters now, and everything is set up so every element can be changed or modified in seconds or any new additions can beadded. If your software supports psd layered files, I can send you the master file, should make life a bit easier.
I am not a professional at editing pics. (I am self taught.)
My Master psd file,as a zip, plus a png version. This includes the shivasite banner layers as well, though hidden and needs to be turned on in your layers view. (Not too sure with how to do that in gimp) I also included the girl on bumper and the stars background as well, did it both sides for you.Hope you can figure this out, the size is 4800 by 800
Thanks! You can move the text and hide the ball. Everything is adjustable in the psd file included in the zip. the png is just a copy of the psd file. The background is a tileable pattern, so you can change that, the text you can change to a different font, or make the text skinny or fat, or change the pattern or gradient.
What I do is put all my graphics in the one file, and hide or make visable the design elements I want. I can reuse exsiting elements, or add new ones. The text can be different colors, with a different pattern, or you can overlay a image over then. Xenonph can add all of his previous banner artwork into one master file, and reuse them or easily change them if needed to save time making new banners. Some of my graphics, like circle light inserts, are made with multiple colors and textures, so I can just mix and match which layers I want to be visible, make any quick changes, and use that. Saves hours having to redo each one from scratch.
Pretty powerful stuff. takes a while to learn all the things, but once you do, you can make some pretty neat designs. If you need help with some things like the blends with this x, just ask. Once you learn the concepts (which are pretty easy once you do) you will be able to crank out some pretty amazing graphics pretty quickly and easily.
That is what I thought, but wanted to make sure.I'm happy with the last one I just put up Anything else would be kind of overdoing it. It's different than the normal banner, but now you have the master psd file, you can do stuff like that. The png is in this thread
