What is the download of this game please on vp8 or vpx?
 
The rom says Bally.mbs. Where do I get it?

That message has nothing to do with the rom.
Are you even reading the message?
Or are you reading the messages I have left on the last 2 tables you needed help with?
The error message is telling you that Bally.vbs file needs to be in same folder as table.
"Unable to open Bally.vbs. Ensure that it is in the same folder as this table."

This is another older table that has dependance of script file being in the same folder as the table.
Alot of these older tables required that a vbs file be in the same folder as the table.
If the table insists that the vbs file be in same folder as table, open table script and look for this...
ExecuteGlobal CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject").OpenTextFile(VBSfile, 1).ReadAll
and change it to this...
ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile(VBSFile)
Now the table runs without the script file in the same folder as the table.
Here is a list of tables that will need this script change.
Here is a list of VP8 and VP9 tables that are dependant on having vbs file in same folder as table.


Some I have listed are no longer available here, but i figured i would add them in case you have these older downloads. They will be marked with ???.


You will have to edit the script in all these Tables with the method described above.

maybe you can check to see if he is doing the pinmame paths correctly.
this could explain a lot of the errors.
he's new.. a lot to learn

This has nothing to do with the rom or pinmame paths.
Many of these early tables required that the script file (VBS File) be in the same folder as the table, for the table to work.
Scripts should only be in your Scripts folder.
You never want to have 2 sets of scripts, (Script files in Scripts folder and Table folder), as this can cause conflicts and errors.
The above remedy makes the table use the scripts in the Scripts folder, instead of using scripts in same folder as table.
 
i think i remember putting the VBS.script in the table folder when i was new to the program to stop the VBS.script errors.
it worked because pinmame was not configed right so there was no conflict.
VP non-pinmame tables worked because they don't need scripts and ROMS.
i think some pinmame tables worked and a lot did not work.
VBS.script, ROM and all the other errors because of the pinmame config path errors.
as i got better the pinmame errors stopped.

i dunno if you are referring to me or Xeno.
i do have a lot and i'm pretty sure i have MrsPacman and AsteroidAnnie in VP8 and VP9 from way back.
try IRPinball.org.
there is a MrsPacman and Asteriod Annie there.
there is a pinmame to install but no ROMS are needed.
i think the tables will play without pinmame.
you won't have music and sounds until you put the components in the right folders
and do the pinmame paths.
just make sure you have the components in the right folders and config pinmame right and it will work.
