why do sounds quit working after playing a succession of tables??

I notice if I go through about 7 or 8 tables, eventually, the sounds quit working and I have to reload the editor (since im using Vista). Is this a bug with the 8.1 release?

It's a bug. Actually it's problem with vPinMame, not VP. Best practice is to entirely exit VP between tables.

xp does it too. Every now and then i go to play a table I haven't played in a while and sure enough the sounds are gone or the background music is gone. no matter I just close it out andreopen it and everything works again, weird that it does that but stranger things have happened on my computer (hard drive crashes, trojan viruses from reputable wav.sound sites etc.)
