Bally The Six Million Dollar Man (Bally, 1978) How to replace star rollover housing?

One of my "down post" star rollover housings on Six Million Dollar Man needs to be replaced (it's not holding the actual star properly). How do I remove it? Is it glued to the playfield, or can I just hammer it out? And do I have to do anything special to get the new one to fit snugly?

Thanks in advance for any help!
